A home office: desks and cupboards.

December 16, 2011

Bamboo cupboards and a desk, with a furniture linoleum top. The bamboo is stained grey, and finished with oil.

At the other side of the room, the children have their own desk. The top is a washable white board, so they can draw, paint, snip and glue as much as they want. The blade is made versatile, the bottom is also covered with furniture linoleum. When the children are older, the blade can be turned upside down, so it will match the other desk.

Garden house with covered terrace.

October 22, 2011

A new garden house is build in a restructured garden. A shed, extended with a covered terrace – a cool spot for hot summer days.

An extra wide door gives space to move in and out with garden machinery.

A man-sized fence serves as a wind screen, and prevents people from looking in. Between the fence and the roof, some space is left open. There is also a passage to the back side of the garden house, where a storage space for firewood is situated

By sliding and folding the door panels, you can make the cupboard easily accessible wherever you want. Tv and hifi, cd-drawers, storage space.

Cradle to cradle bike-house.

December 15, 2010

Clients asked me to consctruct a cradle to cradle bike house, for the whole of the family’s bicycles. Earlier, they were stored under the porch at the front door, but they were not that well sheltered. Inside, the bicycles can be locked up in a bike rack, and there is also more and other storage space available.

The bike house is completed with a green roof. The image is made just after the seeding of the still tiny plants.
